About This Project

EMCA worked as Destination and Events Managers to Yale University’s MacMillan Centre and helped organize the Africa-China Conference which took place at the Lagos Business School. This conference titled “Africa-China Relations: Balance, Growth and a Sustainable Future” provided a fertile platform to discuss how African Countries benefit from economic and political ties with China and how China also benefits from socially and politically sustainable investments into African economies. This conference brought together established and rising thought leaders on Africa-China relations, including Professor Ibrahim Gambari of Nigeria, Prof Ashan Li of Peking University, Ambassador Zhong Jianhua of China, Sterling Professor Ian Shapiro of Yale University’s McMillan Center, Nkosana Moyo of South Africa, and Howard French of Columbia University…

EMCA managed all logistics including Hotel booking, Airport pick-up and comfortable local transport for about 150 international delegates. This two days conference ended with an exquisite dinner at the fabulous Sky Restaurant with a boastful view of Lagos. Guests stayed in high spirits all through event and commended the management of EMCA for putting together a perfect experience for each attendee.
