An event can be said to be a gathering of the group or entity whose purpose is to share, exchange and learn to attain collaborative goals or enhance mutual benefits. We in Nigeria are constantly busy with events, meetings and gatherings.                                                             

Yale University’s President (Dr.) Peter Salovey (one of the founding fathers of ‘Emotional Intelligence’’) and his top tier delegation of professors and staff’s recent visit to Nigeria in early January 2020: attracted Yale alumni, eminent dignitaries, Nobel prize winners in literature as well as notable playwrights, creative geniuses, opera singers, business school deans, corporate leaders, tech-savvy millennial entrepreneurs, journalists, keen lagoon sailors, art curators, museum directors, fashionistas and well known personalities from the world over.  The trip was compacted into 5 days of Lagos State movements and connects based out of a superior quality hotel in Victoria Island, Lagos.

emca being one of the leading events and marketing agency globally. We had the honor and pleasure of being Yale University’s on the ground logistics, production and event team for the duration of their bespoke trip.

Our services included:

Invitation letters & Visas: we wrote the invitation letters for easy processing that helped many attain pertinent Visas.  

Airport protocol handling: we provided professional protocol officers, whom helped in receiving the guests and walking them through the immigration, customs, clearing of their bags and handling them over to their respective drivers we also provided.

Ground transportation: At arrivals, after the clearing at the immigration & custom, our on ground executive cars, drivers & mobile police repeatedly facilitated smooth transfers to the hotel. The adept drivers and cars were used throughout our guests stay in Nigeria.

Guides: Our staff of well-versed local knowledge personnel acted as chaperones though out the trip.

Event Management: we managed the logistics, registrations, production & activities during the numerous events on site at the Radisson Blu Hotel in boardrooms, soiree by the pool terrace, at global women leaders’ forum summits in the ballroom as well as offsite lectures at Lagos Business School, the official visit to National Museum, media parleys and various high powered lunch meetings.
